Hey there! I am Iulia, a UI/UX Designer with a background in Cognitive Psychology, based in Cluj, Romania. My strong passion for both Cognitive Science and Visual Design led me to pursue my dream career: design visual experiences while taking into account human's behaviours and needs. I am currently working as a UI/UX Designer at a Software company. Career Milestones: Date: 2022 - Present Role: UI/UX Designer - Yonder About: Led the design vision in several projects from various industries, being the main designer. Conducted features research, thus designing mandatory features for exceeding the industry standards. Created and maintained a design system, thus improving the development process. Managed to deliver an MVP High Fidelity design in less than 2 months, thus obtaining fast user feedback. Date: 2022 Role: UI/UX Designer Intern - Yonder About: Developed the design for 2 products: one for Yonder internal employees and a mobile application. I designed user flows, site-maps and design systems for both projects meanwhile working closely with RA’s, QC’s and Developers. I also facilitated refinement’s discussion with UI/UX related input for a better team understanding of the upcoming features. Date: 2021 - 2022 Role: UI/UX Designer - Agavi About: I am the single UI/UX Designer in a new-initiative educational project who designed 2 main products: a mobile application for teachers and a presentation website of the application. I conducted user and marketing research, competitor analysis and created high-fidelity mockups and prototypes. I also created a Design System in order to facilitate the designer-developer collaboration. Date: 2020 - 2021 Role: Graphic Designer - Restart Camp About: I created marketing materials: banners, flyers, posters for events and social-media enagagement. I also upgraded the look and feel of the old marketing materials with a bolder and fresher design, that is used in the present. I also designed e-books using Gestalt and Psychology UI principles.
